PHOENIX has worked as a design partner for the Hansgrohe Group since 1987, and with AXOR for over 30 years.

Trailblazers and trendsetters in the bathroom

PHOENIX has innovated countless milestone products. The AXOR Arco mixer, one of our first collaborations in the 90s, reimagined ubiquitous design to mark the beginning of soft, avantgarde faucet designs.

The classic AXOR Montreux bathroom collection, the purist AXOR Uno collection and numerous AXOR Showers products like AXOR Showerselect ID attest to the long-standing partnership. With AXOR MyEdition, PHOENIX created the perfect bathroom collection for the age of individualization.

AXOR MyEdition is a collection for the age of personalization. Flat, modern and supremely minimal, the mixer is topped by an elegant cover plate in the material of one’s choice.

Inspired by the early Modernist aesthetic of Purism, AXOR Uno brings radical simplicity to the bathroom with clean lines, classical geometry and precision engineering.

AXOR ShowerSelect ID brings unprecedented precision and personalization to the shower experience.

Ultra-precise control, universal design styles and unique customization options characterize the program.

Founded by Andreas Haug (born 1946) and Tom Schönherr (born 1954) in Stuttgart, Germany, PHOENIX has been a hub for future-forward design since 1987. Creative thinkers and founders of Phoenix Design. Headquarters of the co-creators of Germany’s modern design history. In the Bauhaus and Ulm School tradition. During the seventies, time was spent working for Hartmut-Esslinger at the legendary frogdesign. Then from 1987 at their own design studio in Stuttgart. PHOENIX creates dynamic, innovative designs in pursuit of logic, morality and magic.

In addition to the company's headquarters, Phoenix Design also has a representative office in Suzhou, China. The company's own Phoenix Design Academy promotes up-and-coming young designers. Today, over a third of the current 60 employees at the creative powerhouse work on design concepts and technologies of the future.

The studio consistently ranks among the top 3 international studios in the prestigious iF ranking, and has won more than 1000 awards for its product designs.
