With luxury and comfort as key design criteria, our iconic AXOR bathroom solutions have been specified for The Reeds, a new collection of 10 dazzling lakeside and spa lodges in the South Lodge estate. Set in over 90 acres of stunning Sussex countryside, South Lodge offers 96 bedrooms and suites, providing Michelin-star dining experiences and ultimate relaxation. The individual Reeds lodges have been specified with a variety of high-quality showering and bathing solutions from AXOR.

Designed to connect with the restorative power of nature, each of the 10 lodges have been created in harmony with the serene countryside backdrop. The use of up-cycled, locally sourced materials for the construction further underpins the sustainability credentials of The Reed’s nature-first hotel setting. Each of the lakeside and spa lodges offer bathroom spaces which provide enticing tonal finishes, relaxing soft uplighting and an alluring combination of striking materials and textures

The individual Reeds Lodges have been specified by London Designers Sparcstudio with a spectrum of high-quality showering and bathing solutions from the AXOR range. They include the AXOR One thermostatic shower, the hansgrohe Rainfinity shoulder shower and the AXOR One overhead shower with ceiling connector. AXOR hand showers and basin mixers complement the design vision. In addition, the newly launched AXOR Citterio wall mounted bath fillers with bath spout, deliver a sense of indulgence decadence for guests seeking the ultimate bathing experience.

To support the design aesthetic, a brushed bronze finish was chosen for the brassware in each of the lodges, which harmonises with the overall scheme and follows the design language established across the South Lodge setting. Beautifully fashioned AXOR One and bathroom accessories provide the level of luxurious comfort that visitors to The Reeds expect.

AXOR’s bathroom solutions allowed The Reeds’ design team to achieve their goal of ensuring sustainability is at the forefront of the project, minimising impact on the precious environment in which South Lodge and The Reeds are set; while still exuding luxury and comfort in equal measures.
