Inspired by life in the modern metropolis, where space is often at a premium, AXOR Citterio M defines an urban aesthetic of elegance and sophistication. Created with more confined spaces in mind, the collection is characterised by reduced and slender forms, delicately tapered and contoured. With its quiet presence and understated beauty, it transforms the bathroom into a retreat from the commotion of city life, a place in which to reinvigorate both mind and body. Versatile and adaptable, timeless yet modern, AXOR Citterio is an ideal complement to virtually any bathroom décor.
Design: Antonio Citterio & Toan Nguyen
AXOR Citterio M offers single-lever, two-hole and three-hole basin mixers in different heights and forms, including numerous wall-mounted variants. The collection includes faucets in a choice of angular parabolic or gently sloping spouts, with several handle and plat options. The wall-mounted single-lever basin mixer shown here comes in two different lengths and, for mounting, a choice of wall flanges or a single continuous plate.
Antonio Citterio founded his architecture and design studio in 1970, while still a student at the prestigious Politecnico di Milano. Over the last five decades, he has quietly established himself as a leading figure in design at all scales, from skyscrapers across Asia to iconic furniture for leading manufacturers to bathroom fixtures for AXOR. Sometimes referred to as the “gentleman of design”, Citterio is known for his timelessly elegant, unobtrusive design concepts. In addition to AXOR Citterio M, his collections for AXOR include AXOR Citterio and AXOR Citterio E.
