The protection of personal data is of great importance to Hansgrohe SE. We collect, process and use your personal data exclusively (a) on grounds of and within the scope of statutory permissions or (b) with your separate declaration of consent. Details of our legal powers can be found below, provided express reference is not made to the need for a declaration of consent.
When you call up offers on our websites, we shall briefly collect and store the following user data in order to enable utilization: Your identification features (your IP address and user names / passwords, where applicable), details on the beginning, end, nature and scope of website use as well as details on your browser and operating system types. This is a technical process which is required for calling up websites on the Internet. The same applies if you access content from our newsletters (except where otherwise permitted by law, our newsletters are sent only on request and with your express consent).
If you voluntarily transmit personal data such as your name, title, e-mail or postal address, telephone number, personal messages etc. to us via contact forms on our websites, e-mail or post, we shall store and use this data to enable the respective requested service (e.g. sending requested information, answering technical or other questions, reaction to your website feedback).
You can apply for various activities (such as jobs, writing your final thesis and vocational training) at a Hansgrohe group company in Germany via an application form on our website. We shall pass on the personal data provided by you on the form (including document attachments) to the domestic company that has advertised the position. We do so exclusively for the purpose of conducting the application process. Once we have passed it on, we will immediately delete your personal data. The company advertising the position will delete this data six months after the conclusion of the application process, at the latest. This is always subject to the condition that no statutory obligation to further store the information exists.
You can address a query to your chosen retailer through our website using the Shopfinder. We do not check the information you have entered, but pass your request directly onto the retailer, who then receives the data you have entered along with your personal data. We shall delete this information once we have passed on the request, unless you wish to participate in the assessment of the retailer or we are under a statutory obligation to store it further.
If you use our dealer recommendation feature, we will store the e-mail addresses or cell numbers and names you give for the sender and recipient as well as any message entered by you in order to transmit the message. Once the e-mail has been sent, we will immediately delete your personal data, unless we are under a statutory obligation to store it further.
If you use our e-card feature, we will store the e-mail addresses and names you give for the sender and recipient, as well as the message entered by you and your IP address for transmitting the message. Once the e-mail has been sent, we will immediately delete your personal data, unless we are under a statutory obligation to store it further.
Your personal data will only be used for advertising purposes without your express consent within the strict limits of our statutory permission. Without your express consent, you will not be contacted for advertising purposes by e-mail or telephone. On grounds of and within the scope of our statutory permission, we shall process and use the following personal data voluntarily provided by you as necessary (1) for advertising our own offers or (2) for transmitting this data to Hansgrohe group companies for their advertising: affiliation to a certain group of persons (e.g. customer or potential customer of Hansgrohe), name, title, academic status, your job, branch or business title, address (excluding your telephone or e-mail contact data) and year of birth. In addition to these details, we may store and use any further data that has been legitimately collected by us for advertising our own offers. If we transmit the data listed above to our affiliates for their advertising purposes, they are legally obliged to inform you that they have received the data from us (notice to this effect in advertising material etc.). In this case, we shall store information on the origin and recipients of the data for a period of two years.
As we strive to optimize our offers and our advertising to meet our customers’ needs, we require information on the general utilization behavior of our customers. For this purpose, we create user profiles using pseudonyms according to the user data that we have legitimately collected in order to allow your utilization of our website. This means that we shall replace all details in the utilization data which could allow any conclusions to be drawn as to your identity (such as IP address, user names and passwords) with an abstract feature. The user profile is not combined with data on your person, nor is it used for any other purposes.
We are partially assisted in the collection, processing and use of personal data by selected service providers which act strictly according to our instructions in accordance with their assignments. They are checked by us before commencing their activities and on a regular basis thereafter.
Unless otherwise stated in these data protection notices, we shall delete your personal data three months after the loss of the purpose of its storage, at the latest, unless we are under a statutory obligation to store it further.
Besides the aforementioned rights, you may demand information on the data stored about you as well as the correction or deletion of incorrect data at any time. Please address your objections, questions, requests for information or deletion, complaints etc. to:
